This is another covered composition book, I call it Girl Power, I have the stuff to make a boy one, and hopefully will be doing that soon. My friend thinks I should make these and sell them, dunno about that:

Hayden's Baby Book

I made this baby book for my cousin Sandra, when she had her baby Hayden, it is a 'mini' photo album about 2" thick I believe. I just covered it and put some cute accents/stickers on it.

Wow after a LONG sabatical from scrapping, I finally got my stuff together and did a little the other night, it feels SO good! I heat embossed a couple of Christmas cards, I got some Christmas Cards when TLC had their big 'blowout' sale a few months back. I heat embossed some stamps onto the cards. I think they turned out cute, what do you think? I NEED to get back into scrapping again.

Wow it's been a while! Things have been crazy with moving & such, so I haven't really had a lot of time to scrapbook/create. I now have my own scrapbook/craft room that I can't WAIT to get all organized so I can start creating some stuff. I'm hoping to have it done within the next week or so......so stay tuned! There are some new cuttlebug folders I want for my birthday......

I go my first order from Picture Perfect today and I must say, I'm impressed! The Scrapbook kits are SO much cuter than they looked in the catalog! I got a ton of stuff and can't wait to create. Here's a layout I threw together this evening.

I hope y'all like pictures, cause I'm having a blast with my newfound scrapbook addiction! Here are a couple of things that I have made recently!

This is a post it note holder. I purchase a template from Michaels, and then used TLC's Slumber Party papers, cute out the Notes lettering using my Cricut Expression, and an eyelet to hold the ribbon firmly into place.

This is a composition book I covered using TLC's products. I have learned how to do it even better now so my next ones will look 'perfect' :-). They are a lot of fun to create!

Good news!

Every day during the transition with TLC (Topline Creations) seems to bring a brighter outlook at it all for those consultants who were left in the dark. Today they announced that we will still be able to all our customers to purchase from our website, and we will get a small percentage of that, as well as a small 'member' group bonus each month. WAHOO! I'm very excited for that. As I was just getting started. I'm not sure if I will continue to try and hold parties or not. I really like the exclusiveness of their line, and the 'cuteness' factor. We shall see what time brings....

I went to baby shower last night, I normally don't like going as I always have generic gifts and I'm not a mommy (even after 3 years of trying) so it brings some pain there...well not last night! I covered a little photo album in products from TLC, and some stickers from Michaels. Then my hubby helped me cover a small spiral notebook with some of TLC's Paper then sticks from Walmart as baby's 'first' journal. It turned out WAY cute and I was the talk of the shower...besides mom to be :-). Everyone oohed and aahhed...and wanted to know how I did it...little did they know it took about 2 hours to make! It's hard to create perfection :-). My hubby did the majority of it, but I helped :-).

So I have been busy creating. This is a card using products from Memory Works April Kit of the Month. It is my hubby and I's anniversary tomorrow (April 9th) and I wanted to creat something special. I am also using a few embellishments of my own (from Walmart and LTD Commodities).

I also created some greeting cards (they included 5 cardstocks to make cards as well) This is my first attempt at making a clipboard which was also part of their kit! I am very impressed with the size of their monthly kits.

New Beginnings...

So I am/was an Independent Consultant with TLC Topline Creations up until Friday, when they announced their "New Beginnings" which was basically a total dissolution of their Consultant program, and the introduction of their new "Buyer's Club". This has left A LOT of consultants in the dark, about what their futures hold. Although I was just getting started as a consultant, I feel I had well over $1,000.00 in inventory, and now no place to put it :-). I am planning on continuing with TLC, as I am an avid Hobbyist and I do like what products offer, not to mention as I am a subscriber for their monthly auto-ship Artist's Choice, I get a 30% discount on their awesome products. I am glad they are continuing on, and not just closing down when the going gets tough so to speak.
I am also a consultant with Memory Works and Picture Perfect Scrapbooking Co. I love EVERY moment of scrapbooking...well alright every moment except for trying to figure out what to create next. I have so many projects I want to create, some times it's hard to decide WHAT to start with :-). I guess that's a good sign.
